Hearts of Gold was born out of a dream I had, I had been a wedding photographer for quite a while but my love for film was always there. My wife and I are far from party animals, we are more like couch potatoes, we love watching movie trailers before going to sleep (it’s become an obsession). We are lucky to have a small town cinema across the road, you will always find us there.

When I decided to move into wedding films, I wanted to provide my couples with something different and unique, a camera on a tripod was simply not gonna cut it. Our couples are not our “clients”, they are not cardboard cut outs that will fit anywhere, you are unique and I would love to show who you both are in the most sincere and beautiful way.

We are all somewhat dreamers and adventurers, to me, telling your uniqueness as a couple in a short film is what makes me happy. I know that your wedding is so much more than just a day, it’s an event that has been crafted over decades by family, friends and life’s unexpected wonders. We know that there’s more than a bride & groom saying I do, exchanging rings and cutting a cake, there are so many other little stories throughout the day just waiting to be told. That, is why we don’t capture the cookie cutter mould of your wedding, rather we focus on the wonderful story behind it and bring it to life through filmmaking.
